Wholeheartedly

Hand dyed and handwoven by Nicki Rathert

Wholeheartedly was such a joy to work on. It was a rare full-custom piece, and all the proceeds from the custom piece went to support the work of T1International, an organization dedicated to advocating for people with Type 1 diabetes around the world.

The hand-dyed Supima cotton warp was inspired by a picture of a sunset over a mountain range, and in addition to the custom piece, there were two sisters woven on this warp.
There were two pieces on this warp. The competition piece is 4.7m in purple rose viscose weft. The sister piece has black Tencel weft.
